I. Information Berkely (“We”) will collect:
We collect Personal Information when you submit to us a request for information,
complete an application, claim form, online form, or survey. We retain Personal
Information for only as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the stated
purpose(s), or as required by laws and regulations. We also collect email
addresses of those who communicate with us via email. We do not sell or share
your personal information or e-mail addresses to any third party for purposes
of marketing.
II. Information we may disclose to affiliated and non-affiliated third
parties:
We do not sell, trade, or give away your personal information for purposes
of marketing.
We may use your Personal Information to contact you when necessary to process
your policy, claim or information request.
We will only disclose your Personal Information to third parties when one

- Underwriters and Service Providers — We may disclose your personal
information to other companies that help us process or service your request,
your insurance policy or insurance claim. Examples include name, address,
policy no. and date of loss. Be assured that we will only disclose the portion
of your personal information that is necessary to process or service your
claim. These third parties are not allowed to use personal information except
for the purpose of providing these services. These companies are not
allowed to use your Personal Information for their own purposes and are
contractually obligated to maintain strict confidentiality.
III. Non-affiliated third parties to whom we are permitted to disclose
non-public personal information:
We may disclose non-public personal information about you, such as we have
described above, to the following types of third parties that perform services
on our behalf
- Other third parties that perform services for us that are necessary
to effect, administer or enforce your transaction with us (e.g., underwriters,
claims representatives, agents and brokers).
- Financial institutions, such as insurance providers as necessary to
provide products and services that you have requested.

As indicated above, we do not sell, trade, or give away your personal information
for purposes of marketing. In the future, if we decide to disclose the
information we collect about you, as described above, for purposes other than

state regulations implementing GLBA, we will give you an opportunity to opt-out
of such disclosures; that is, we will give you the opportunity to direct us
not to make those disclosures.

hold, to those employees and others who need to know that information to provide
